3-stage decontamination trailer suitable for emergency crews, construction sites, demolition teams, hazardous material (hazmat) teams
The decontamination features a three stage design for the decontamination area. This consists of a dirty zone, shower and clean room separated by a door. Ventilation is included to push air from the clean room into the dirty room to prevent cross contamination. Additionally this unit is equipped with a spacious office/command area at the rear of the trailer with it's own entrance door, window, lighting and desk.
The decontamination trailer has been designed to be durable, easy to use and to ensure effective and safe operation. The material choice for the trailer consists of chemical resistant surfaces that can easily be hosed and deep cleaned when required. The trailer features onboard tanks to ensure that you always have a water supply when attending a site as well as allowing contaminated water to be transported away from the site for safe disposal.
The decontamination trailer is built for industry. The ease of use of the unit and intuitiveness of the design allows it to be packed away quickly, safely and efficiently. Security is also a key feature on the unit as it is equipped with a foldaway a-frame step, ASSA ABLOY locks that are keyed alike so a single key can operate the unit, and electronic door lock system. The lightweight construction of Scanvogn decontamination trailers allows it to be towed by any passenger vehicles with a braked towing capacity greater than 1700kg. The federally approved AL-KO Mechanical Overrun Braking system also eliminates the requirement for any electric brakes.
The Scanvogn decontamination trailer connects to a standard 50mm tow bar and can be set up and ready in minutes. This allows you to move the trailer from one location to another, quickly and efficiently and without any hassle. The trailer is made from cleaning-friendly and durable materials, saving you time on cleaning and maintenance.
The decontamination trailer features onboard freshwater and waste tanks to allow it to be deployed in more remote areas.

We cut all the outer trailer wall panels with a seam and fit them so that the angle seals closely around the floor. We also cut the corners with a seam and assemble them with sturdy anodized aluminium profiles. This results in a cabin with maximum trailer body strength and density and ensures you get the highest quality.
All our mobile trailer units come with a solid, single piece-cast roof. This ensures your portable unit is weatherproof in all conditions, this also significantly increases its lifetime. The roof is cast with an even bend for optimal strength and water drainage. The roof also has a gutter system, which helps direct water and dirt away from doors and windows.
We only maintain the highest standards for corrosion protection. All our portable trailer cabins come with a sturdy heat galvanised chassis. Galvanisation is only done once the chassis has been mechanically processed, so that all the edges and bolt holes have also been galvanised and sealed.
